Research
I apply a molecular approach to measuring marine biodiversity and tracing trophic interactions. I elucidate cryptic trophic pathways, examine fine-scale niche partitioning, and investigate the resilience of food webs under global change. While most of my work is based on tropical coral reefs, I am implementing new research programs based in the Texas Coastal Bend.
