The University of Texas Marine Science Institute and Mission-Aransas Reserve are hosting their third Women in Marine Science Day, geared towards all interested in marine science. This is a FREE, come-and-go event.
Description
We’re excited to bring back Women in Marine Science Day for the first time since before Hurricane Harvey! This event is a wonderful opportunity to engage with the local community and inspire future scientists. Attendees will enjoy a mix of hands-on “make and take” activities as well as scheduled programs, including plankton tows, Wetlands Education Center tours, plant pressing, and more.
