Join us on June 9 from 9:00 AM to 3:30 PM in the ERC Seminar Room for the Coastal Bend Bird Monitoring Workshop. This free event will feature presentations from experts representing UT Austin, UT Rio Grande Valley, TAMU-CC (Harte Research Institute), TPWD, CBBEP, Gulf Coast Bird Observatory, Cape Fear Bird Observatory, and the International Crane Foundation. Attendees will gain insights into current bird monitoring efforts and data availability, participate in hands-on demonstrations of Motus towers and sound recorders, and engage in group discussions to explore future directions and identify gaps in regional bird monitoring initiatives.
