Meet the Artist: Visualizing Marine Science Showcase

The University of Texas Marine Science Institute is proud to present Meet the Artist, the culminating event of the Visualizing Marine Science Competition. This competition showcases the beauty of marine science through photography and videography, offering a unique perspective on the research conducted at UTMSI.

Join us on Friday, May 30, 2025, from 5:30 to 7:00 PM in the UTMSI Lyceum for a gallery exhibition of selected works that highlight both the science and the people behind it. Guests will have the opportunity to meet the artists, learn about their creative process, and explore the intersection of science and art. Light refreshments will be served.

We welcome the Port Aransas community and surrounding areas to attend and celebrate the creativity and dedication of our students, faculty, and staff.
