Interested in studying marine science on the Texas coast? Join us to learn more about Semester by the Sea and our exciting May Term courses at The University of Texas Marine Science Institute in Port Aransas.
Shared-Housing in the MSI dorms will be provided at no cost for all students admitted and enrolled in all five courses offered for Spring 2027 at MSI (students are still responsible for their own meals; a shared kitchen is available in the dorms). A security deposit and signed housing contract will be required.

Semester by the Sea offers undergraduate students a unique opportunity to live and learn at UT's Marine Science Institute in Port Aransas, gaining hands-on experience through field-based courses, research opportunities, and immersive coastal learning experiences.
